The assignment of rooms on the third floor was the same as the second. In 1940-41 Josef and Anni Albers were on sabbatical. Josef Albers had a study and a guest room was available for them when they were at the college. Anni Albers's "study" was the weaving room which was located in the basement.

Lee Hall floor plans, 1940-41. North Carolina State Archives, Black Mountain College Papers.

The Black Mountain College Project gratefully acknowledges a grant from the Graham Foundation
for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts for a study of architecture at Black Mountain College.
