The windows are inexpensive prefabricated steel sash windows which pivot near the top and swing out from the bottom.

The final step in the completion of the exterior of the Studies Building is transite facing which is nailed to the frame. Transite is a corrugated asbestos imbedded concrete construction material. Soon after the transite is applied, it is necessary to add angled steel supports to prevent sagging of the outer frame.
